Saecula by Vulcino is an intensely aromatic Extra Virgin Olive Oil made exclusively from the native Caninese cultivar in Latium. Organic and full-bodied, it reveals grassy, artichoke, and almond notes with firm bitterness and a long peppery finish — a powerful oil for those who appreciate character and depth.

Produced on Vulcino’s 15-hectare estate, Saecula captures the essence of the volcanic landscape between Lake Bolsena and the Tyrrhenian Sea. The secular olive trees — around 2,000, cultivated non-intensively at 200 m above sea level — are part of the innovative “Vulcino Music” project, where sound frequencies of Mozart and Bach accompany the trees during growth and production, enhancing vitality and harmony.

Harvested early in October and cold-pressed within four hours using a MORI 2-phase system, the oil expresses exceptional freshness and purity. With polyphenols exceeding 550–600 mg/kg, Saecula is both elegant and powerful — a liquid expression of art and terroir.

Vulcino was born from the vision of Eugénie and Silvio Grigolini, who fell in love with the unspoiled landscape of Canino in northern Latium. Eugénie, a classical musician and sommelier, infused the estate with artistic sensibility and a deep respect for nature. Their 15 ha of organic olive groves thrive on volcanic soils rich in minerals, producing two oils — the monocultivar Saecula (Caninese) and a blend — both characterized by their purity, sustainability, and emotional resonance.
