The Three Oils in the Box

Cru #212 – Peranzana

Cru #212 is a monovarietal extra virgin olive oil made from Peranzana olives, a delicate and elegant cultivar traditionally grown in northern Puglia.

The texture is smooth and elegant, allowing the aromas to evolve naturally before finishing with a delicate green freshness that lingers lightly.

Venterra Blend

The Venterra Blend represents the estate’s interpretation of balance, combining carefully selected olive varieties in a thoughtfully composed assemblage.

Cru #112 – Coratina

Cru #112 is a monovarietal extra virgin olive oil crafted from Coratina olives, one of the most characterful cultivars of southern Italy.

Cru #212 – Peranzana

The oil opens with a soft yellow hue touched by green reflections, releasing a grassy, medium-intensity fruitiness reminiscent of freshly cut herbs and subtle almond notes. On the palate, the Peranzana character unfolds gently with light spice and balanced bitterness, creating a harmonious and refined profile.

This oil is particularly suited for dishes where subtlety and balance are preferred, such as grilled vegetables, carpaccio, and light seafood starters.

Venterra Blend

In the glass, the oil shows a golden yellow color with soft green reflections. The aroma reveals fresh fruity sensations with notes of green tomato, creating a lively yet approachable aromatic profile.

On the palate, the oil is gentle and harmonious, with mild bitterness and light spice

Thanks to its balanced structure, this blend works beautifully with bruschetta, fresh salads, vegetable soups, and light fish dishes.

Cru #112 – Coratina

The oil presents a golden yellow color and opens with a green fruitiness of medium intensity. Aromas evoke fresh grass, artichoke, and freshly cut vegetables, giving the oil a vibrant and expressive aromatic profile.

On the palate, the Coratina variety reveals its characteristic structure, with pronounced bitterness and persistent spice that add depth and energy to the oil.

The texture remains composed and structured, guiding the flavors into a long, lively finish.

This oil is particularly suited for legume soups, toasted bread, and aged cheeses, where its intensity can complement richer flavors.

Tenuta Venterra is a family-run olive estate created with the clear mission of producing extra virgin olive oils of consistently high quality. Located in the heart of the Taranto peninsula, the estate benefits from a privileged geographic position, favorable climate, and exceptional environmental purity — including clean air and high-quality irrigation water.

The property extends across approximately 115–120 hectares, with 87 hectares planted with olive trees and additional land dedicated to future plantings and vineyards. The groves host traditional and native Puglian varieties such as Frantoio, Leccino, Coratina, Pecholine, Peranzana, and majestic century-old Ogliarola trees set across gentle hillsides.

Tenuta Venterra is cultivated according to certified organic agriculture, avoiding synthetic chemicals and respecting natural maturation cycles. The estate is characterized by a rich polyculture system where diverse olive varieties coexist harmoniously, enhancing biodiversity and flavor complexity.

Production follows strict quality standards: olives are carefully selected, processed using modern oxygen-free extraction technologies, and stored in temperature-controlled facilities. This meticulous approach results in extra virgin olive oils with a delicate sensory profile and lower perceptions of bitterness and pungency, while fully preserving freshness and varietal character.
