Carassia Blanc de Blancs embodies the rebirth of sparkling wine craftsmanship in Romania. Using exclusively Chardonnay grapes grown in the Crisana DOC, it undergoes secondary fermentation in bottle and a minimum of 24 months aging on lees. The result is a fine balance between fresh citrus fruit, white flowers, and honeyed brioche, with a long, refined finish that reveals both minerality and depth.

In the glass, a bright golden color with fine, persistent perlage.

On the nose, a refined bouquet of fresh citrus, white flowers, and honey, enhanced by brioche and yeast notes from extended lees aging.

On the palate, vibrant acidity frames the creamy texture, while minerality and citrus zest lead to an elegant, lingering finish.

Carastelec Sparkling Winery is Romania’s first winery dedicated primarily to crafting sparkling and semi-sparkling wines. Located in the historical Crisana region of Transylvania, one of the country’s oldest wine-growing areas, it combines traditional craftsmanship with modern precision.

The name Carassia and its wines reflect the spirit and uniqueness of their origin — the village of Carastelec — emphasizing the central role of terroir in the winery’s philosophy.

Carassia’s emblem, composed of five interwoven hearts forming a star, symbolizes the five core principles guiding the estate: terroir, grape varieties, technology, time (long lees aging), and love for detail. 🏡 Storage

For us, every wine tasting is a sensual experience. Proper storage therefore plays a crucial role in preserving quality.

All wines in our selection at Tresmundi are kept in a specially designed wine cellar in Hamburg, maintained with controlled temperature, humidity, and sound insulation.

Bottles are stored horizontally and away from light sources, ensuring the cork remains in contact with the wine to prevent unwanted oxidation. This careful process allows each wine to develop beautifully and reach you in perfect condition.

📦 Delivery

Our wines are shipped in certified DHL packaging designed specifically for safe wine transport (for wine orders only). If your order includes other products, we wrap each bottle securely in bubble wrap to minimize the risk of breakage.
