Story behind the bottle · Spera
Proximity to the sea, a Mediterranean climate, Gallurese granite and the Mistral — these are the elements that give rise to Spèra. The wine takes its name from the Gallurese dialect, meaning “ray of light.” It is a fresh Vermentino di Gallura with a diverse bouquet and moderate alcohol content, particularly suitable as an aperitif and a wonderful match for delicate seafood dishes.
Notes in the glass
Bright straw yellow colour with light green-gold reflections; clear and lively. The nose presents zesty lemon peel, green apple and white peach, layered with jasmine blossom and Mediterranean herb notes. On the palate, the wine is energetic yet refined, featuring crisp acidity, stone-fruit sweetness in balance, and a lean saline minerality that speaks of its granite origin. The finish is fresh, long, and leaves a hint of bitter almond typical of aged Vermentino.
Pairing: Ideal with seafood antipasti, shellfish, fresh pecorino, or simply enjoyed as a bright aperitif on warm evenings.
About the winery · Siddura
In the timeless hills of Gallura, a wild and untouched region in northeastern Sardinia, lies Siddùra – one of Italy’s most renowned boutique wineries. Just a few steps from the charming village of Luogosanto, Siddùra was born from a vision: to create exceptional wines that embody the spirit of Sardinia, its ancient traditions, and its breathtaking terroir.
A story of passion and origin
Founded by Nathan Gottesdiener, a visionary entrepreneur with a deep love for Sardinia, and Massimo Ruggero, an expert in viticulture and oenology, Siddùra is more than just a winery – it is a tribute to the land and its people. The two founders recognized the unique potential of Gallura’s granitic soils and Mediterranean climate and set out to create wines that not only compete with Italy’s finest but also redefine Sardinia’s wine tradition on the world stage.
From the very beginning, Siddùra’s mission has been to unite tradition with innovation. Old vines of Cannonau and Vermentino were revived, modern cellar technology was introduced – always with the focus on preserving the authenticity of the region. The result is a collection of wines that are both elegant and powerful, capturing the essence of Sardinia in every glass.
Nomen est omen – The name is the sign
At Siddùra, every wine tells a story – not only through its taste, but already through its name. Guided by the Latin maxim nomen est omen – “the name is the sign” – each wine carries a name that reflects its personality and soul. From Spèra (“hope”) to Erema (“solitude”) to Bàcco (the Roman god of wine) and Nudo (“naked,” symbolizing purity and originality) – Siddùra’s wines are expressions of identity and philosophy.
All Siddùra wines also share the same elegant label – a symbol of unity, quality, and brand integrity. The minimalist design puts the wines themselves at the forefront and creates a coherent, distinctive collection recognized worldwide.
Globally awarded excellence
Siddùra’s dedication to quality, sustainability, and craftsmanship has made the winery one of the most decorated in Italy. With more than 250 international awards, including honors from Decanter, Mundus Vini, the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, and the Berliner Wein Trophy, Siddùra stands for prestige and top-level performance.
The estate’s top wines regularly receive the highest ratings and are sought after by wine lovers around the world. They showcase the richness of Sardinia’s terroir and the mastery behind every bottle. Siddùra is not just a producer but an ambassador of Sardinian winemaking.
Luogosanto: Città del Vino 2024
Thanks to Siddùra’s commitment and its successful role in placing Luogosanto on Italy’s wine map, the village was named “Città del Vino” (Wine City) in 2024 – a prestigious award for municipalities that have made outstanding contributions to Italy’s wine culture. This recognition highlights Siddùra’s key role in revitalizing local traditions, promoting sustainable wine tourism, and strengthening the cultural heritage of the Gallura region.

🍇 Selection
At Tresmundi, every wine is chosen with the utmost care – guided by the expertise of a certified wine professional with WSET Level 2. With deep knowledge of viticulture, winemaking, and tasting, we ensure that every bottle in our collection meets the highest standards of quality, balance, and character.
We focus on wines that tell a story – whether it’s a hidden gem from a small family estate or a timeless classic from a renowned region. What we offer is more than a drink: it’s an experience.
Food and wine are two of our greatest passions. They are among the richest and most rewarding pleasures in life – and we indulge in them as often as possible. When selecting our producers, we consider not only taste, appearance, or awards, but also their values, traditions, and sense of place. Above all, we value passion and respect for nature and craftsmanship. We make sure that each producer’s philosophy and vision are reflected in every drop.
Our focus lies on small, family-run wineries that work with dedication and heart. Every wine has a story worth telling. You won’t find these bottles in supermarkets – nor in the vast catalogs of large online retailers. Our wines, and the stories they tell, are meant to be discovered and appreciated.
🏡 Storage
For us, every wine tasting is a sensual experience. Proper storage therefore plays a crucial role in preserving quality.
All wines in our selection at Tresmundi are kept in a specially designed wine cellar in Hamburg, maintained with controlled temperature, humidity, and sound insulation.
Bottles are stored horizontally and away from light sources, ensuring the cork remains in contact with the wine to prevent unwanted oxidation. This careful process allows each wine to develop beautifully and reach you in perfect condition.
📦 Delivery
Our wines are shipped in certified DHL packaging designed specifically for safe wine transport (for wine orders only). If your order includes other products, we wrap each bottle securely in bubble wrap to minimize the risk of breakage.
